PCFARM - Computer system for follow-up of pig breeding production
PCFARM a PC system for pig breeding production follow-up enables the breeders to conduct a complete and updated basic evidence on their PC’s including any other obligatory evidence for the production process and selection of pigs.
This computer system provides for the elaboration of all legislative reports too.
PCFARM, computer system has been designed pursuant to the pig production technology as applied in the Serbian farms and pursuant to the standards of the Stock Breeding Institute of the Agricultural Faculty in Novi Sad.
Basic Data:
- only one i.d. number of an animal containing also its tatoo number is applied,
- breed coding provides for the follow up of all cross breedings up to the level of quadruple cross breeds,
- for each new animal, an automatic establishment of breed and origin is provided for pursuant to the parents data,
- includes all data registered in the course of each reproduction and production stage,
- provides for both daily and temporary follow – up by means of both on-screen and printed reports in the form of exel data basis,
- provides for the work at site in all existing computer networks.
PC system PCFARM consists of two sub-systems:
• Basic data (rotation plan, reproduction, tests, pedigree)
• Stock List (evidence on stock movement, feed and medicaments consumption, breeding list)
Basic data (rotation plan, reproduction, tests, pedigree) provides for creation of data basis (basic data for sows and boars, insemination data, weaning data, farrowing data, selection, testing).
Program provides for evidence of the basic list for sows and boars, fertility and productivity analysis of sows and boars, boars’ biological test, plans and analyses of insemination and farrowing, and production results for the required period.
EXAMPLE: SOW BASIC DATA
Stock List (evidence on stock movement, feed and medicament consumption, breeding list) follows each change in the stock movement in the course of production for each pig category. Enables daily insight to each change, as well as calculation of every production indicator (feeding days, feed consumption, average number of animals, daily gain, gain pursuant to each feeding day, feed consumption for one kilo of gain...).
EXAMPLE: MONTHLY REPORT
REFERENCE LIST
PCFARM system has been installed at 22 end-users – in the Stock Breeding Institute of the Agricultural Faculty in Novi Sad, Agricultural Secondary School and Breeders’ Association in Bačka Topola, and the following pig farms: Ravnica Matijević - Bajmok, Poljoprivreda - Senta, Zobnatica - Bačka Topola, Halas Jožef - Ada, Jedinstvo - Kikinda, Kozara - Banatsko Veliko Selo, Essentico - Kula i Mokrin, AD Dinamika – Kamendin, Carnex - Vrbas (unified network system for three farms).
